MGI, The Association

MGI is an association of independent accounting and consulting firms linked together for the benefit of members and their clients. The firms have no equity interest in each other and practise under their own names.

Founded in 1947, the association has 287 offices located in 82 countries.

The association is operated through a non-profit making company, limited by guarantee.

The policies of MGI are primarily determined by the International Committee, which is made up of elected representatives from the eight geographical areas. All matters fundamentally affecting the association are discussed at area and annual general meetings, and are subject to the approval or rejection of the members, each of whom has one vote.
