Latin America Area Meeting 2017

The annual Latin American Area meeting took place from May 24 to 26 in Guatemala City, hosted by MGI Chile Monroy & Asociados.

After a welcome dinner on Wednesday 24, there followed two days of intense work where delegates discussed strategies for projecting and promoting MGI in the Latin-American continent.

Clive Bennett gave an update on MGI Worldwide and Area Coordinator, Andrea Pallas, brought the latest Area news as well as speaking about the importance and value of using the MGI brand across the Area. A presentation was made by one of our newest members from El Salvador, Avelar y Asociados and there was opportunity to hear from two prospective new members from Honduras and Brazil.

Of course, there was also time for recreation, interaction with fellow members, and to enjoy the gastronomy and landscape of this charming city.

Attendees agreed that it was an excellent and very productive meeting. Ideas were discussed and plans laid to guide the Area during the next year.

Thank you to all the delegates and in particular to the special guests that joined the group in Guatemala. We hope to see you all next year at the MGI Latin America Area meeting in Quito, Ecuador, where we will also celebrate the 35th anniversary of host firm MGI Guerra & Asociados.
