Our regular Tech-on-Tuesday webinars continue through the summer with more Wow’s from David Benaim showcasing the latest updates and features to Microsoft 365. Each month we will start with a round-up of what’s new with a more detailed review of some of the most recent features Microsoft has released.

More about this webinar

Tasks can be created in Outlook, Planner, To Do, OneNote etc. but Teams recently incorporated a way to combine many things into one place, David will walk through these individual tools as well as the combined Teams output. Task management is a combination of soft and hard skills, and much like the popular email management webinar, David will walk you through some ideas to combine experts’ productivity theory with some tech features which many aren’t aware of, whilst keeping the process as efficient as possible through the technology available to us in 2020. Hyperlinked words relate to videos showcasing a preview of the content.

  • Outlook allows you to flag emails or use its task module. Although rarely used it provides many benefits over most task based software due to how flexible it can be due to filters.
  • Planner is a low grade project management tool, a Kanban board similar to Trello allowing you to create tasks, assign them to team mates & swap to calendar, person view
  • To do is a personal task system that Microsoft offers, a successor to Wunderlist. Outlook tasks & flagged emails sync with To do
  • OneNote allows creation of tasks, which I use for “as you go” tasks
  • Teams brings it all together in one clean interface

David will also showcase updates to Microsoft 365 apps for the month.
