Asia Area Meeting 2011

Meeting Overview

For the second time in less than 5 months the Asia area met, this time in New Delhi at a meeting organized by Pallavi Dinodia of SR Dinodia & Co.

The meeting was attended by 24 delegates plus several partners and staff of SR Dinodia & Co.

Representation from Asia included:

3 firms from India Malaysia Taiwan

2 firms from China Hong Kong Japan Thailand

2 firms from Singapore Indonesia Kazakhstan

Global representation included:

Thierry Delvaux, MGI International Executive Director, Brussels office

Andy Grout & James Beecher, Midgley Snelling, UK

Mal Di Giulio, MGI Perth, Australia

Des Caulfield, MGI Adelaide, Australia

Pallavi Dinodia was elected as the new Asia area representative of the International Committee succeeding Assan Masood at the conclusion of his term of office in October.

In addition to the above changes, the area agreed to appoint an Area Coordinator and set up an area website, the first of the new generation of MGI international website.

The feedback from this meeting, particularly from those who have attended previous Asia area meetings, was extremely positive. As a result many of the Asia partners attending the New Delhi meeting are now willing to commit to serving MGI and to fit into our new set of quality criteria.
