2016 Global AGM Conference

Meeting Overview

Global AGM Banner Meeting Highlights

This year’s Global AGM Conference was held on the 19-21 October amid the splendid views of the Andes Mountains at The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago, Chile.

This geographically gifted destination, graced by both sand and snow, introduced delegates to the wonders of Chile and South America and was an excellent backdrop for our Global AGM.

The meeting attracted more than 90 delegates, including accompanying persons, which was more than expected and great to see.  Our hosts, Hernán Espejo and Viviana Rojas from MGI Hernán Espejo y Asociados Ltda., were delighted to welcome their MGI colleagues from around the world.

Successful Speed-Networking

The conference opened with a “Speed Networking” session where delegates had opportunity to present their business as part of a 60 Second Speech to each other. Members praised the session saying, “that was excellent”, “great to get chance to talk to everyone” and “we must do this again!"

A welcome cocktail reception at the Tierra noble restaurant only a 2-minute walk from the hotel, followed with live music and dancing on the evening of the second day at the Ritz Carlton Ballroom.
