Another great Chateauxform venue
The first "Chateauxform" type of European Meeting was held in 2015. It was a unique event. The Open Space format allowed members to join a series of discussions based on topics of their choice and the meeting was considered a great success.
This year, it was decided to recreate a similar type of event – a mixture of knowledge-sharing and open discussions in the same relaxed French atmosphere.
The conference attracted accounting group members from 26 countries globally and offered the opportunity for delegates to be introduced to new MGI Europe members Dva Dukata doo from Belgrade, Serbia and Benko Kotruljic from Zagreb Croatia.
Guest speaker Marc Decorte, from InnoWings, shared his experience on navigating businessesin an unpredictable world by leveraging digital technologies, whilst Ian Golding, from Customer Experience Consultancy Ltd., provided a thorough overview of Client Experience and how best to run a client-centric organization. In addition to ths, there was opportunity to review the mindset of start-ups and what is in it for MGI Worldwide firms.
The agenda was also designed to allowed members to discuss topics of their choice.
Members discussed two essential initiatives at the conference:
1. New Business Collaboration
Simon Rowe, Menashe Knobel and Francesco Bartolucci presented the status of the new business collaboration project among 7 firms from Europe and the UK. During the Q&A session, the team received feedback from the participants on how to motivate more members to join the project.
2. The Future of engagement within the European Area
Erik Emilsson and Morten Ryberg talked about their vision of future meetings in Europe.
Clive Bennett, CEO of MGI Worldwide, gave a global update on quality assurance and introduced new MGI Worldwide colleague Emma Rowley who will be working closely with marketing director Maxine Brock on a new initiative to help firms maximise the value of their MGI membership.
