Have you registered for our upcoming webinar on complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) yet?

MGI Worldwide will be hosting an hour-long webinar entitled 'How to comply with GDPR: What you need to do and when', presented by Caroline Gurevitz, associate director at Xact, on Thursday March 29th at 3pm BST.

With less than two months until GDPR comes into force on Friday May 25th 2018, it is vital that accountancy firms are prepared for the legislation, know what is required of them and are ready to comply with the new data security rules.

However, according to results from the EY Global Forensics Data Analytics Survey 2018, published in the March 2018 edition of the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB), only one-third of businesses are ready for GDPR's introduction.

Some 39 per cent of survey respondents admitted that they were not familiar with GDPR, while 17 per cent said they had heard about the regulations but were yet to take any action.

If your company can relate to this, or you would simply like to know more about what will be required of your accountancy firm in the run-up to GDPR coming into force REGISTER FOR THIS WEEK'S MGI WORLDWIDE GDPR WEBINAR HERE
