International legal awards recognise MGI Worldwide member’s accounting expertise

Judges at the Lawyer International Legal 100 Awards have recognised Milsted Langdon’s Forensic Partner, and MGI Worldwide Chairman, Roger Isaacs, as the UK Accountant Expert of the Year.

Roger’s specialist knowledge of forensic accounting and delivery of high-quality services to a wide range of lawyers has been recognised by the organisers of the awards.

Often speaking as an expert witness in court and tribunal cases, Roger has become a renowned authority in the field of forensic accounting and has provided his expertise to several publications and media outlets as well.

Alongside his day-to-day role at MGI Worldwide accountancy network member firm Milsted Langdon, UK, Roger also holds positions as the Chair of the Forensic Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and as National Technical Director for NIFA (Network of Independent Forensic Accountants), as well as sitting as the current Chair of MGI Worldwide and IC member for MGI UK & Ireland.

Speaking about receiving the accolade from Lawyer International, the publication behind the award, he said: “It is a real honour to be named as the UK Accountant Expert of the Year. I work closely with solicitors, barristers and courts in England as well as in arbitration tribunals around the world, so it is gratifying to see that the services we offer are highly regarded by the legal profession.”

This is the second time this year that Roger has received an award, having already been named as the UK’s leading forensic accountancy specialist at the Lawyer Monthly Expert Witness Awards.

“To win two awards in a year and in such close succession is a very special achievement for me. I hope this will help to promote the support that we can offer to a wider audience and highlight the value of forensic accountants,” added Roger.
