The live webinar event on Quick fixes in the EU: How important changes on the VAT Action Plan impact businesses from 1 January 2020 took place on Thursday 13th February 2020, with attendance of 41 members from 24 countries around the world.

Our hosts VAT Expert and Global VAT Specialist Group members, Florian Hanslik from PrimeTax AG based in Zurich, Switzerland and Koen Dewilde from Vatsquare CVBA based in Brussels, Belgium are both specialised in national and international indirect taxation (VAT and customs) for over 20 years.
For those working with clients or businesses that are trading goods within the EU then this webinar is for you. From 1 January 2020, member states will be required to adopt four 'Quick Fixes' to their VAT rules in advance of the implementation of the Action Plan. These are designed to provide a level of consistency and simplification to VAT rules where goods are traded across the EU.
This webinar highlighted important changes that will have considerable impact on businesses trading within the EU and internationally, including:
