The Auckland based firm announced earlier in June that Rachel Easton, a Principal since 2012 has joined Nick Francis and Jill Howard in a governance and ownership role.

Rachel obtained a BCom and BSc from the University of Auckland in 1996. She spent time with Deloitte progressing to a Manager role, before joining MGI Auckland as a Senior Manager in 2004.

She is an experienced business services and tax practitioner with a client base operating in most sectors of the New Zealand economy.

Rachel is also the in-house international tax specialist, dealing with structuring matters – both for overseas-based clients looking to invest in New Zealand, and those New Zealand based clients looking to invest in or establish a business abroad. This focus compliments the business advisory and accounting services that she provides to her client base.  She has worked with many different MGI member firms over the years and is particularly well known to the MGI Australasia members of the network.

Outside the office Rachel loves watching Cricket, reading novels, attending the ballet and relaxing with family and friends.
