  • Until now Nielsen & Christensen has been a member of ‘Praxity’
  • With 200 employees, including 30 state authorized public accountants, Redmark becomes the 8th largest accounting firm in Denmark
  • With a combined turnover of approx. 20 million EURO
  • This now makes Redmark MGI’s third biggest member by turnover
  • The client base remains focused on SME’s, however Redmark will also be an auditor for listed companies
  • Morten Ryberg will remain the key contact for MGI members
  • The new firm website is www.redmark.dk

Morten Ryberg, Chairman of rgd revision and key contact for MGI members says “rgd revision has in recent years achieved a high growth rate in East Jutland, and for us, the merger is a natural step in our ambition to become a national accounting and consulting firm. The merger would give us access to more knowledge and internal specialist departments, which gives us an even better opportunity to address customer challenges. We are looking forward to further developing our common business at the benefit of our customers and employees.”

Morten looks forward to telling fellow MGI members more about the “new firm” at future MGI meetings and hopes that the merger will result in more international business, backed up by a strong, modern and visible MGI.

Arne Larsen, Chairman in Nielsen & Christensen says “Our ambition is to grow to a size where it always is possible to offer our clients the best advice.  Nielsen & Christensen and rgd revision is a perfect match. In addition to rgd revision’s excellent reputation, they share our values to provide customers with a highly qualified and present advice, meaning that the customer is always in focus.”

Seen from Nielsen & Christensen’s angle the merger with rgd revision satisfies the desire to have more spots on the map of Denmark. “Nielsen & Christensen has a long-term strategy to grow both organically and through merger. We long had a goal of being represented in the major university towns – the goal is now close to being met,” says Henrik Glanz, chartered accountant and director of Nielsen & Christensen, adding:” Our companies fit well together, and we can from day one solve tasks together. Our customer base, attitudes to customer service and especially our humanity votes really good match.”
