MGI is the 12th largest accounting association for Africa and the Middle East, latest data compiled by International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) shows.
Revenue for MGI firms in the region, which is split into MGI Africa and MGI Middle East & North Africa, topped $13.1 million in 2014, according to the figures, while there are now more than 500 staff.
MGI Africa has members in South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Mauritius, Liberia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Madagascar.
In the MGI Middle East & North Africa region there are firms from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
