MGI MENA accountancy network member, The Scientific Office for Audit, Accounting and Consulting (SOAAC) of Amman, Jordan, was the official sponsor at the accounting contest held earlier this year at the Faculty of Business, Applied Sciences University in Amman Jordan. Students from the accounting department participated in the contest.
Mr Khaled Masoud represented SOAAC and was one of the judges at the contest. The President of the university, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and the head Professor of Accounting Department and other faculty members were also present at the event.
Khaled said sponsoring this contest and providing scholarships for the winners was a way for the firm to promote the accounting profession. Being active in the student space is also a pipeline to access and recruit young graduates.
