MGI North America kept its place among the region’s leading accounting and audit associations last year, according to the latest data compiled by International Accounting Bulletin (IAB).
Members across the US and Canada earned a total of $134.7 million in the financial year covered by the report, placing the association as the 16th largest by fee income in North America. Staff numbers hit 663.
In the same report, the IAB said MGI is the 13th largest accounting network by fee income worldwide. The World Survey 2016 revealed MGI enjoyed 2% growth as global fee income topped $548 million.
The global report noted that the “war for talent” is among the biggest challenges facing the industry and this is also true in the US.
Accounting Today’s recent poll of 600 accountants, tax pros and CPAs revealed that attracting and retaining high-calibre staff is top of the US industry's agenda in 2016.
