Rickard Keen can now offer the skills of a fluent Polish speaker to help with a range of business, tax and accountancy matters.
Originally from central Poland, Anita Slotwinska has lived in the UK for the past six years.
Qualified to AAT level, Anita works in Rickard Keen’s Business Services team and her role includes bookkeeping services, preparing accounts, VAT and completing statutory forms for clients.
Managing partner Alan Worsdale said: “At Rickard Keen we recognise that businesses are increasingly trading overseas and may require different communication skills.
“Having Anita on board allows the firm to offer our expert advice and services to the ex-pat Polish community in the UK, as well as Polish companies seeking to do business in the UK and vice versa.
“Anita is a highly qualified and skilled accountant who will be able to assist in a variety of services.”
Meanwhile, two staff members have successfully passed their final ICAEW examinations. Dean McCormack and Jodie Stead were advised on 13 December that they had passed their finals. Both Dean and Jodie commenced employment with Rickard Keen after they finished their A-levels in 2008. They achieved an AAT qualification and then progressed to the ACA.
