After 12 successful years, John Alexander, CBW’s head of insolvency, is retiring to do “much more interesting things”.
John’s move to CBW proved to be a very successful one. Although he was already an industry heavyweight, CBW’s insolvency department was still relatively small. At the time, John was a partner and head of PKF’s London corporate recovery department and was previously a corporate recovery partner at KPMG.
John leaves CBW having built a team that now deals with a case load that is five times the size as the one he inherited upon his arrival. He has also played an important part in improving the standards and reputation of the industry as a whole through his work with the R3 organisation.
On the occasion of John’s retirement, the CBW team is being further strengthened with the arrival of Melissa Jackson from The MacDonald Partnership. She has more than 16 years’ experience in corporate recovery and insolvency and specialises in SMEs and personal debt solutions. She will be supported by Guy Scorer who also joins the team as a business development executive.
