Wolverhampton based chartered accountants E R Lloyd & Co have merged with Muras Baker Jones Limited (MBJ).

Established in Wolverhampton in 2000 by Roy Lloyd, the company provides accounting services to a range of businesses, partnerships and individuals.

In planning towards his retirement, Roy has been keen to ensure that the company ethos is maintained and felt that MBJ was an organisation with similar values and therefore, a good fit. Roy has joined MBJ as a consultant together with four members of staff.

Roy said: “I have known the directors of MBJ for a number of years and we have worked together previously. MBJ has a similar culture and ethos of providing exceptional client service.”

Chris Morris, Managing Director, said: “We are always looking for opportunities to expand, whether by offering new service lines or acquiring firms whose client bases complement our own.”

The merger further strengthens Muras Baker Jones position as the largest independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Wolverhampton.
