The Corporate Finance team at Milsted Langdon recently completed the sale of Bridgwater-based Sedgemoor Drinks Limited to Newton Abbot’s Tolchards Limited.

The transaction brings together two very successful family businesses – all with a common focus on personal, friendly and efficient service – as well as three generations of industry experience.  

The origins of Sedgemoor Drinks date back nearly half a century, as founding MD Stephen Wey worked alongside his father in a former family business before establishing Sedgemoor Drinks. Stephen, who ran the company with his wife Marion, now joins the Board of Directors of Tolchards Limited.

Both businesses have recently experienced strong growth and the transaction is viewed as building a strong West Country coverage with recognised and respected brands.
