A hardy team of enthusiasts from Rowleys completed the British Military Fitness mud run major challenge at the Merevale Estate on Saturday 7 March.
The team joined forces with members of a local charity to raise money for Leicester Charity Link. The lake was “freezing cold” and there was plenty of mud, but it was all in aid of a great cause. To date, the firm has raised just over £1,000.
In addition, Muras Baker Jones’ Adrian ‘Forrest Gump’ Simcox has not stopped running since he completed the Pattingham Bells Run for charity that was reported in the last newswire. Adrian, who works in the insolvency department at the firm, is pictured keeping his head afloat while wading through troubled waters. He completed the gruelling Suicide 6 run and raised money for the British Heart Foundation Charity.
