Watson Buckle has taken part in a project to celebrate the growing success of Bradford’s business community.

The firm partnered with Barclays Bank and publication, The Business Desk, to create the Invest in Bradford supplement which is available to download for free on the Business Desk Yorkshire website. 

The supplement was also sent to more 140,000 registered subscribers that include some of the UK’s largest companies.

This supplement also marks the successful opening of The Broadway shopping centre, which, with over 250,000 visitors in the first weekend, looks set to reinvigorate Bradford.

As part of its role in the partnership, Watson Buckle recently hosted a roundtable with some of Bradford’s biggest businesses to discuss the city’s place in the North and look at how to make the most of the transformational possibilities created by regenerative schemes such as The Broadway shopping centre.

The discussion looked at how to make Bradford an important part of the ongoing Northern Powerhouse process and what the city and its businesses needed to do to promote its strengths as a city of enterprise and commerce.
