Networking and social activity
Whether you are staying on another night or travelling home on the Friday, it would be good to take the time to meet with other members. Consider others in the same technical area, with the same client types, with skills that your firm doesn’t have or in a geographical region that is relevant to your clients.
Alternatively, meet with your colleagues to create an action plan based on the conference - a number of firms have done this very successfully previously.
Friday afternoon will be a relaxed time with different options depending on what takes your fancy and what the weather is like. At 16:15 we will meet at the Johnnie Walker Experience (Johnnie Walker Princes Street), which is opposite the hotel, for a tour and tasting ending up no doubt with a “wee dram”. In the evening we will be dining at Dine Edinbugh (19:15), a restaurant appropriate to a relaxed night out In Edinburgh.
