AI moved again in 2026, and much of what firms decided a year ago is due for a second look. This session updates the AI presentation Woody Taylor gave at the MGI North America meeting in New Orleans in May, and it ends with a proposed action: one shared AI training program for MGI member firms, sponsored and hosted by BGM.

In one hour, attendees will get:
- Where the platforms stand now: Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude, and how a firm should choose among them.
- What AI agents can now do in accounting and advisory work, shown with live examples.
- What member firms are already doing, and where the early wins have come from.
- The proposal: MGI North America Group AI Foundations, a ten-class live training cohort running October 6 through December 15, taught in a hosted practice workspace stocked with realistic accounting data, so no firm has to set anything up in its own systems. Two additional sessions for partners and leadership cover platform selection, acceptable-use policy, change management, and cost control.
