Yes. Many member firms choose to use the MGI prefix as part of their firm name to benefit from the reputation, credibility and international visibility that comes with being part of MGI’s global community. It can be a powerful way to strengthen your firm’s profile in your local market and highlight your international reach. Using the MGI prefix is entirely optional. Some member firms choose to retain their own brand identity so there is plenty of flexibility that comes with membership of MGI to best support your market position and growth ambitions.

Membership brings real value and getting the most from it starts with active participation. Member firms are expected to attend an MGI meeting each year and meet a small number of core participation requirements.

Beyond that, there is a great deal of flexibility in how firms engage. We encourage firms to get involved in ways that suit their goals, people and priorities. Firms that actively build relationships, attend events and collaborate internationally tend to see the greatest value from membership, especially when they involve people across their firm, not just one or two contacts.
