- Guest Speaker: Katherine Judge, Senior Economist at CIBC Capital Markets (Toronto, Canada)
For the afternoon session Katherine will present an economic update with both global and North American perspectives. She will assess where the economy is headed as central banks tighten policy to cool inflation and growth, and the implications for financial markets. She will also explore the risks to the outlook from geopolitical uncertainty.
Katherine joined the CIBC Economics group in 2018. She forecasts and provides insightful commentary of North American economic data, and contributes to research on a wide range of topics that impact financial markets. Prior to joining CIBC, Katherine worked in a similar role at another major Canadian bank.
