European Eastern and Central Circle Meeting 2017

The first joint Eastern and Mediterranean Circle meeting took place between 8 - 9 June in Prague, Czech Republic. The meeting was hosted by our Czech member LTA Tax.

The conference welcomed 42 delegates from Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine and from the UK.

Circle leaders Corneliu-Teofil Teaha, László Killik, Menashe Knobel and Stéphane Loubieres worked together with our host Hana Daenhardtová to develop a great programme for the one and half day event.

  

The programme for this joint circle meeting was a combination of MGI related matters and business building. Thanks to LTA tax's excellent client relationships, delegates also had the opportunity to hear from Tomas Vajzer, the Regional Controller of Eastern Europe Sub-Region, Husqvarna Division, and CFO at CZ & SK, talk about client expectations and criteria when selecting financial services in international markets.

Members confirmed the election of Menashe Knobel as Mediterranean Circle Deputy Leader. The Eastern Circle agreed to organise an email consultation about the election of Circle Leaders.

Dinner took place on the wonderful banks of the Moldva river, next to the Charles Bridge and was followed by a night-time cruise to enjoy the stunning night views of the beautiful city of Prague.
