Nordic Circle Meeting 2017

members of the European Nordic Circle met in Rungstedgaard on 15 September in Denmark.

This year members of the European Nordic Circle met in the beautifully located Rungstedgaard,  on 15 September in Copenhagen, Denmark. A total of 16 circle members from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden participated in the meeting. 

Looking to the future

The meeting kicked off with an update on recent global and European developments in MGI but the central theme of the conference was The Future of the Profession.

First, participants received a strategic overview of how Revideco and Redmark are facing up to future challenges within their businesses. The meeting then continued with a brief introduction by European Executive Director, Zoltan Paksy, to what innovation and 'design thinking' are all about.

During the second part of the event, delegates had the opportunity to test their creative powers in two workshops, where teams were asked to review existing problems within their areas of service and work on finding solutions, and coming up with ideas for new types of services.

Erik Emilsson   Morten Ryberg

Participants re-elected Erik Emilsson, from member firm Revideco AB, and Morten Ryberg, from Redmark, as Nordic Circle Coordinators for the coming year. 

The meeting ended with a traditional Nordic Circle Champagne Moment and a gorgeous dinner at the venue.
