America’s Accountant and One of the Most Influential Professionals in Public Accounting
Known as ‘America’s Accountant,’ Dan Geltrude is a well-respected CPA, a trusted advisor, and a Renaissance Man. In 2099, Dan was appointed to the NJ State Board of Accountancy by New Jersey’s Governor. He is also an adjunct accounting professor at Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, and the author of the best-selling book “Positive Financial Karma.”
New Jersey born and raised, Dan was also honoured by his hometown of Nutley, New Jersey by being inducted into the Nutley Hall of Fame in 2019. Dan is the co-founder of the Mike Geltrude Foundation for Melanoma Education and Research and Clara Maass Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, appointed Dan to its Board of Trustees.
Dan is well-known nationally, thanks to daily appearances on major media outlets, such as Fox News. Dan is repeatedly called upon with little advanced notice to comment on issues as disparate as year-end tax tips and the economic fallout of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Despite his many media appearances, Dan remains laser focused on his primary commitment to his beloved Firm and his valued clients. Since 1995, Dan and his partners and staff have served a wide range of clients, which include privately held companies, and real estate industry professionals where they work with top developers.
