50 years of history, commitment and community: celebrating Zesati Contadores
Reaching 50 years is a remarkable milestone, reflecting decades of hard work, vision, resilience and strong relationships. For everyone at MGI Latin America, it was a real privilege to join Zesati Contadores, one of the pioneering firms in our LATAM region, for this very special anniversary.
A milestone worth celebrating
Zesati Contadores has made its 50th anniversary an occasion to remember, with events and activities throughout the year bringing together the team, clients, partners and friends who have shared in the firm’s journey.
From trips and dinners to special gatherings and experiences, there have been plenty of opportunities to look back on five successful decades – and to recognise the people who have helped make them possible. MGI friends and colleagues have been very much part of these celebrations.
A memorable evening in Mexico City
One of the highlights was a special anniversary event at the Grand Fiesta Americana Chapultepec hotel in Mexico City, where the Zesati Contadores partners and team welcomed around 100 guests, including family members and friends from across MGI.
It was a relaxed and memorable evening, with dinner, live music and plenty of shared memories. More than anything, it captured the warmth and friendship for which Zesati Contadores is so well known and which has made the firm such a valued member of MGI, both within Latin America and internationally.
Celebrating the people behind 50 years
The evening also provided an opportunity to reflect on the firm’s journey and recognise those who have helped shape it.
Each of Zesati Contadores’ five partners – Roberto Zesati, Mariano Méndez, Alberto Hernández, Arturo Martínez and Cuauhtémoc Contreras – shared a few words and some personal reflections on the years gone by.
Karin Monchak, MGI LATAM's representative on the International Committee, and Maxine Brock, CEO of MGI Worldwide, also spoke, expressing the enormous affection and respect for Zesati Contadores among colleagues throughout the network.
Gifts and toasts followed, along with a moving video tracing the firm’s development from its early days to the present – a fitting reminder of the people, achievements and experiences behind its success.
Part of the MGI Latin America story
Zesati Contadores is one of the firms that helped establish MGI in Latin America and over the years, has continued to help form the character and identity of our region.
Its longstanding involvement in MGI, together with the warmth, generosity and enthusiasm of its partners, has helped forge many of the relationships that make our international network such a strong community today.
So, thank you Roberto, Mariano, Alberto, Arturo and Cuauhtémoc – for everything you have contributed over the past 50 years and for all that you continue to bring to MGI.
