Alex Damianopoulos joins NextGen IC representing MGI Australasia

We are delighted to welcome Alexander (Alex) Damianopoulos, Tax Manager at MGI Parkinson in Perth, Western Australia, to MGI Worldwide’s NextGen International Committee (IC), representing MGI Australasia.

Alex joins Jake Duignan, representing Accru Group, meaning that for the first time, both independent networks that make up MGI Worldwide’s presence in Australasia are represented on the NextGen IC. It is an exciting step in the continued growth of NextGen across Australasia, creating a stronger link between the region’s emerging leaders and the wider international network.

Already active across MGI Australasia

Alex joined MGI Parkinson as an intern in 2020 while completing his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Marketing at the University of Western Australia. He has since progressed to Tax Manager and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.

Beyond his day-to-day work in tax and business services, Alex has already become an active part of the wider MGI Australasia community. He is a member of the Technology Adoption Group, where he helps explore how new technology can be used more effectively across the regional network, and has also contributed to wider MGI Australasia projects. He has also attended the MGI Future Leaders Conference.
