The power of learning together: another year kicks off at the MGI LATAM Academy
MGI Latin America has launched its 2026 Academy programme, marking the third consecutive year of this successful initiative designed to support professional development and help member firms navigate an increasingly dynamic business and professional environment.
The programme is already underway, with the first training block, 'Commercial development and professional positioning', attracting strong participation from across the region and reflecting the ongoing commitment of firms to investing in their people.
Strong engagement from across the region
The opening sessions featured a combination of expertise from within the network and beyond. Oscar Antonio Chile Villalta, from MGI Chile Monroy & Asociados in Guatemala, shared practical insights on consultative approaches to winning new clients and strengthening client relationships, drawing on real-world experience from within the profession.
Practical insights for business growth
Participants also benefited from an external perspective through a session led by sales specialist Macrino Sanchez, who explored four key sales skills that can make a difference in business development, providing practical tools that attendees can apply in their day-to-day roles.
Looking ahead
The Academy programme will continue through to December, delivering more than 20 sessions across a range of topics, including the future of the profession, digital transformation, technical developments, organisational culture and professional sustainability.
Designed to be practical, engaging and relevant, the sessions bring together experts from across the MGI network alongside external specialists.
