Wednesday 22 October

Enjoy a welcome cocktail reception and dinner at the Club International in The Drake Hotel, listen to live music, courtesy of Peter Miletic and let the sounds of Classic Jazz and Swing set the mood while you enjoy the views overlooking Michigan Avenue onto Lake Michigan.

Thursday 23 October

Debate the future of the MGI alliance and cast your Vote on the biggest change in MGI in recent decades. Also hear from:

Brian Smith presenting ‘Networks in Practice & Forum of Firms’.  Brain was a Senior Audit Partner of Arthur Andersen LLP in London. He was responsible for quality control, methodology and training in the worldwide firm’s audit practice and for audit quality control.  In 2001 Brian was closely involved in the founding and implementation of the Forum of Firms.

Al Gini talking about the ’10 Virtues of Outstanding Leaders’.   Al is a dynamic speaker and a Professor of Business Ethics and Chair of the Department of Management in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. He is also the co-founder and long-time Associate Editor of Business Ethics Quarterly.

Enjoy a special dinner event on the 95th Floor of the John Hancock Centre where it boasts the world’s fastest elevator, flying you up 1,000 feet in a thrilling 40 seconds! 

After a gourmet dinner you can enjoy a special performance by the Brooze Brothers Jazz and Blues show band.  A high-energy musical tribute featuring timeless music that will keep you on your feet all night long!

Greg Voeller talks about ‘Change Management’. Greg has led global change management and organizational communication programs for industry-leading companies.  He shares his best-practice expertise and experience in helping clients achieve measurable impacts and results.  

Enjoy a Gala Dinner in the Grand Ballroom at The Drake Hotel. Originally built in the roaring twenties for the Charleston craze, the Grand Ballroom floor is designed to put a spring into your step. 

During Cocktails and Dinner live music will be performed by The Stitely Band. The Stitely Orchestra will play dancing music from their enormous repertoire.

Saturday 25 October – Post Conference Trip

Extend your stay in Chicago through Saturday for the optional post conference trip to Buddy Guy’s Legends featuring renowned Chicago Blues performers.  Lunch buffet and open bar with live entertainment will be in our private party room.  Included in the excursion will be access to the main stage show.

Tuesday 21 October – Pre-conference Trip

Start your visit to Chicago by attending the hockey game between five time Stanley Cup winner Chicago Blackhawks and the two time Stanley Cup winning Philadelphia Flyers.  Included in the cost of $325 will be round trip motor coach transportation between the United Center and The Drake Hotel. Food and beverages will be served while at the stadium in the luxury skybox. At the game both soft and adult beverages will flow along with a delicious buffet from Levy Restaurants serviced by a dedicated attendant.
