A big congratulations to long term member firm MGI Páez Asociados of Bogota, Colombia, as they celebrate their 40th anniversary and 25 years of MGI Worldwide membership!
Founded in July 1982 by Henry Waldo Páez, Julio Rojas and María Rosa Piñeros, the firm has built a solid reputation for its commitment to transparency and for its genuine interest in the needs of its customers. From the beginning, the firm sought to establish sustainable and long-lasting business relationships, collaborators and strategic allies. It was with this mindset that MGI Páez joined MGI Worldwide in 1997 becoming an active and collaborative member of the network with strong ties to its colleagues in the Latin American region and the world.
With 40 years of experience the firm now boasts more than 100 clients and a team of 3 partners and 15 collaborators who continuously strive for continuous improvement, work integrity and commitment to their customers.
Celebrations to mark the date
The anniversary festivities began on 12 July with a commemorative eucharist and a celebratory breakfast toast for the whole team. Nancy Bermúdez, Partner at the firm, opened the celebration with a heartfelt reflection:
“Our firm has had a glorious past in the field of auditing and consulting, a complex present, and an auspicious future to conquer. To continue building the future we need to always remember how our firm began with Don Henry and Rosita and the amazing people who have accompanied us during these forty years, who have allowed us to grow and thrive. We must remember our past experiences, our successes and failures, and draw on the great lessons they provide.”
MGI Páez Asociados, would like to mark this important anniversary and the success of the past 40 years by recognising the team of professionals, past and present, who through their work, dedication and commitment have made the form what it is today.
As the firm looks to the future it has set out growth and projection objectives which include the offering of new professional services - MGI Páez hopes to have these in place in time for its 50th golden anniversary.
