CRS Consulting attends British High Commission reception for the UK–India Free Trade Agreement
CRS Consulting, an MGI Worldwide member firm, joined a British High Commission reception in Ahmedabad bringing together businesses and officials to discuss the opportunities the UK–India Free Trade Agreement could unlock for firms on both sides.
A timely conversation in Ahmedabad
Our member firm CRS Consulting was pleased to accept an invitation for Anuj Sharedalal to attend a networking dinner reception hosted by the British High Commission in Ahmedabad, convened by Mr Stephen Hickling, British Deputy High Commissioner to Gujarat & Rajasthan.
The evening brought together business leaders and representatives to connect, exchange perspectives, and explore what the UK–India Free Trade Agreement (FTA) could mean in practice for trade, investment, and professional services.
Among those in attendance were Harjinder Kang, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner to South Asia, and Jennifer Kaul, Investment Counsellor for South Asia, with whom Anuj had the opportunity to speak.
Where policy meets real-world delivery
Across the MGI Worldwide network, our firms support clients operating across borders every day — from market entry and structuring, to tax, audit, advisory and long-term growth planning. Conversations like these matter because they connect policy direction with the practical realities businesses face when expanding internationally.
As Anuj shared following the event, being part of discussions at this level is a reminder that strong economic partnerships are built not only through agreements, but through the professionals and businesses who help turn ambition into action — thoughtfully, compliantly, and with local insight.
Looking ahead
We’re proud to see CRS Consulting represented in conversations shaping the next chapter of UK–India collaboration. For our network, the most meaningful progress is always rooted in people: trusted relationships, open knowledge-sharing, and the ability to connect clients with the right experts across borders.
MGI Worldwide is a leading global accounting network and association with over 8,500 professionals, across audit, accounting, tax, legal and consulting, in some 440 locations in 100 countries around the world.
