MGI Worldwide and CPAAI accounting association firms in Latin America lead the way in new collaborations

Our Latin America region is leading the way in reaching out to their new CPAAI colleagues and looking for ways to collaborate and forge new friendships.

We’re delighted to see so many of our Latin America members making the most of these opportunities and we are pleased to be able to share some recent stories that have been shared with us from across the region.

Collaborations in MexicoMGI Bargalló Cardoso & Asociados and Despacho Zesati

Rafael Castellanos and José Luis Méndez, two of the partners of MGI Bargalló Cardoso & Asociados, recently met with their colleagues from Despacho Zesati, a CPAAI firm in Mexico City.

During this positive and friendly meeting both firms identified where the strengths and opportunities lay for each of them and have committed to collaborating together in the future.

Cuauhtémoc Contreras, who is one of the International Committee Members for the newly merged orgnisation representing the Latin America region, shared that “this collaboration marks, without a doubt, the beginning of interesting new projects.”

Collaborations in Ecuador: MGI Guerra & Asociados and Valarezo & Asociados

The partners of MGI Guerra & Asociados, based in Quito, Ecuador, visited the offices of CPAAI representative Valarezo & Asociados in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Juan Carlos Guerra of MGI Guerra & Asociados, who is also an International Committee Member representing the Latin America region, explained that; “during the meeting we looked for ways in which our firms can collaborate in order to strengthen the network in our country, committed to working together to create future opportunities.”

Douglas Valarezo of Valarazo & Asociados supported these sentiments by commenting that; “it was a day in which we addressed many issues of mutual interest, a fruitful meeting that helped us to get started on joint projects.”

Collaborations in Chile: MGI Hernán Espejo y Asociados and Jullian Consultores

Representatives from both networks, MGI Hernán Espejo y Asociados and Jullian Consultores, met in Santiago de Chile where they shared the history of their firms and were able to ascertain that their businesses operate in very different, but complimentary markets.

The firms are keen to keep in touch and get together soon in order to continue to strengthen their relationship.

Collaborations in Peru: MGI Gutiérrez Rios y Asociados and Ramírez, Saco y Asociados

Last month, MGI Gutiérrez Rios y Asociados welcomed CPAAI’s Ramírez, Saco y Asociados at their offices in Lima, Peru. According to the participants, it was an excellent opportunity to get to know each other’s firms and their partners. Both parties are excited to grow this new relationship and take full advantage of new business opportunities that the merger has provided.

Latin America certainly are leading the way in highlighting the benefits that the recent merger has brought by expanding the network of like-minded businesses who are already planning to work closely together to support their clients.
