Great news from the MENA Region as MGI KICA International signs memorandum of co-operation with HPNI Health Consulting in Lebanon

Lebanon member secures internal control, audit and quality management contract with national health provider

MGI KICA International, MGI Worldwide CPAAI member firm in Lebanon, recently signed a memorandum of co-operation with the Health Professionals Network HPNI to provide internal control, audit and quality management to the healthcare sector and hospitals in Lebanon.

According to Rabih Kerbaj, Managing Director of MGI KICA, the Covid pandemic, and its impact on the quality of the healthcare sector, made him reflect on how his firm could support the sector by providing consulting services. He found a niche market and capitalised on it. In order to secure this new business, Rabih had to be proactive and find out the exact needs of his client.

“I even hired doctors to provide advice to our auditing professionals on how our skills can be used to assure quality and controls in a hospital environment.”

The culmination of this was the signing of the memorandum with HPNI. HPNI main objective is the provision of health consultation and medical training services. The organisation will help hospitals improve their quality and patient care, implement health IT systems etc.

The memorandum was signed at Al-Faqih Hospital by Mr. Yusef Abdullah Fakih, Chairman of HPNI Board of Directors and Rabih in the presence of members of the Board of Directors and General Managers of both companies.

The memorandum covers the comprehensive cooperation and coordination of the financial, administrative, medical auditing, quality management and training amongst others.

MGI KICA International will support HPNI with professional staff and technical knowhow.  As a member of MGI Worldwide, MGI KICA International is highly respected and recognised by the Lebanese government to audit the Lebanese public sector.
