Latin America hosts its first ever Talent Meeting in Panama
We’re delighted to share that earlier this week MGI Latin America held its first Talent Meeting — an event that the region has been eager to bring to life for some time. This year, it finally happened, marking the beginning of what the region hopes will become a annual event.
Regional Director, Andrea Pallas, picks up the story:
MGI Latin America's first ever Talent Meeting took place on 25 August in Panama City and brought together 20 young professionals from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, and of course, Panama.
Invaluable support from members
Our local member firms, MGI Chambonett y Asociados and MGI Montufar y Asociados, provided invaluable support in coordinating the agenda and logistics.
Partners Milton Chambonett and Eduardo Montufar joined the gathering, meeting with the regions' young professionals, delivering an inspiring talk on the value of being part of MGI Worldwide, and leading discussion groups where participants exchanged insights and experiences across borders.
To kick things off in a lively way, we invited a team-building group that surprised delegates with fun and engaging activities designed to spark collaboration, teamwork, and connection.
We also welcomed excellent speakers who delivered sessions on topics highly relevant to our audience, including Accounting 4.0 (covering blockchain and artificial intelligence), holistic wellbeing, and a practical workshop on effective communication led by Oscar Antonio Chile, partner at MGI Chile Monroy y Asociados in Guatemala.
