MGI's Dominican Republic member futureproofs firm, transitioning leadership to next generation

How prepared is your firm for the future? MGI LT Accountant, in the Dominican Republic, is actively futureproofing as it announces a leadership handover to the next generation of professionals.

Planning ahead

For the past years, MGI LT has been undergoing a generational transition, following a carefully planned process designed to ensure a smooth and successful handover. The latest phase sees Ginelcy Paulino appointed as Deputy Director of the firm, and Sidney Vargas named the new Audit Manager.

Managing Director and founding Partner, Luis Taveras comments:

“We must ensure that the next generation is well positioned to carry forward the firm’s legacy and, above all, to uphold the loyalty and commitment to MGI LT Accountant’s standards — after all, it has taken 17 years to build the brand in the Dominican Republic and we do not want to lose this.”

Luis will remain as Managing Director for approximately two more years, until both appointees have fully settled into their new roles. The aim is to ensure a smooth and well-structured transition for clients, consultants, staff, suppliers, as well as the wider public. After this period, Luis will take on the role of Chairman of the Board.
