MGI expands strong footprint across New Zealand under new Regional Chair
MGI’s presence in New Zealand is growing rapidly, with MGI+MORE now operating offices across both the North and South Islands. The MGI+MORE team has expanded into Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Masterton, Martinborough, Taranaki, Wellington, Invercargill and Gore, marking a significant milestone in MGI’s strategy to strengthen its footprint across the region.
Dan Henderson, CEO and Managing Director of MGI+MORE, has led the expansion and is enthusiastic about what this growth means for local businesses and the wider MGI network.
“Our goal has always been to bring exceptional service and trusted advice to more businesses across New Zealand,” said Dan. “Being part of the MGI network allows us to do that with both global perspective and local understanding. We’re proud to now have a presence in so many regions across the country.”
Dan was recently appointed Chairman of MGI Australasia, bringing with him a clear vision for continued growth and connection across the region.
“What we’ve achieved in New Zealand is a reflection of what’s possible when firms collaborate, share knowledge and align around client needs,” he added. “As Chair, I’m committed to driving that same energy across the entire Australasian network and building on the existing culture of collaboration evident in the MGI Australasia group.”
That collaborative spirit was on full display at the recent 2025 MGI Australasia Conference, held in Brisbane in April, which marked the largest regional meeting in MGI Australasia’s history, with nearly 70 delegates from all eight member firms in attendance. The conference focused on leading high-performing teams and showcased the strength and unity of the network.
As MGI continues to build momentum across the Australasia region, the New Zealand expansion is a powerful example of what’s possible through shared vision, strong leadership and a commitment to client success.
