MGI MENA Region comes together virtually to connect, collaborate and grow
Despite the challenges posed by the current geopolitical situation across parts of the Middle East, the spirit of collaboration and community within the MGI MENA region remained stronger than ever during the recent 2026 MENA Regional Virtual Meeting.
The event brought together around 40 participants from member firms across the region and demonstrated the strong relationships that continue to unite the MGI community.
From the outset, there was a genuine sense of warmth and camaraderie as members reconnected with colleagues from across the region. The meeting served as a timely reminder that the strength of MGI lies not only in business opportunities and technical expertise, but also in the friendships and mutual support that unite our members across borders.
Firms catch up
The Member Firm Updates provided an excellent opportunity to hear about recent achievements, growth initiatives, market developments, and the challenges firms are navigating in their respective countries.
MGI MENA HR Toolkit
A major highlight of the meeting was the official launch of the MGI MENA HR Toolkit, a significant regional project developed over the past year to support firms with practical resources covering the entire employee lifecycle. Members welcomed the completion of this initiative as it represents a major investment in helping member firms strengthen their people strategies and support long-term growth.
Members also received updates on MGI Worldwide's strategic direction and heard an insightful presentation on the use of technology within professional firms. Members discussed the importance of leveraging technology and AI-driven solutions and highlighted the growing importance of embracing digital transformation within the profession.
The region's financial performance was presented and approved, while members also agreed on the next regional project, the development of an MGI MENA AI Toolkit. As the meeting concluded, participants left with a shared commitment to supporting one another and driving the region forward.
Community in action
While the meeting may have taken place through computer screens rather than across a conference table, the sense of community, friendship, and collective purpose was unmistakable.
The MGI MENA region continues to demonstrate that even in challenging times, collaboration, innovation, and strong relationships remain the foundation of success.
A big thank you to all who took part and to Regional Director Audrey Danasamy for organising the virtaul event. For more information, reach out to Audrey.
