2024 MGI Mexico Annual Meeting

MGI member firms in Mexico recently held their annual meeting in the city of Merida in the Yucatan Peninsula.

A total of 22 delegates from 8 firms, plus a prospective firm in Guadalajara, gathered for this 3-day conference to catch up on management issues in the region, and plan for the year ahead. As well as exchanging business ideas, delegates continued strengthening the bonds of friendship between one of the most consolidated sub-regions in Latin America.

Among the topics presented were the results of the 2023 quality control reviews, the 2023 information exchange, the calendar of tax meetings and the 2024 training agenda.

The agenda also allowed time for the Business Exchange where the Partners shared projects and business opportunities for 2024.

And as happens every two years, the new Board of Directors was confirmed, which once again re-elected the representatives that have been serving since 2020, for a new two-year term.

Awards were also presented to Council members and to the host firm: Alberto Rocabert y Cía. as a vote of thanks.

Finally, as a finishing touch to this 3-day experience, the group of delegates and their companions visited the archaeological site of Dzibilchaltún on Saturday.
