MGI RAS ‘absolutely delighted’ to join MGI Worldwide global accounting network in South Africa immediately takes the MGI prefix

Exciting news from South Africa as growing Pretoria-based firm MGI RAS is welcomed to the MGI Worldwide Family. Choosing to adopt the MGI prefix right away and holding a prestigious re-brand launch event to mark the occasion, the firm further strengthens our reach in the Africa region.

Offering a full range of services and complete with its own leadership and development academy, MGI RAS is ‘absolutely delighted’ about the opportunity of being a member of MGI Worldwide and what this presents. The firm is excited to be part of a flourishing network of independent firms, and to start offering support and help to other members whose clients may be looking to do business in the country.


Celebrating 10 years in existence, and with over 80 years combined executive experience in the industry, MGI RAS has experienced remarkable growth in recent years in terms of revenue and clients. A firm of Chartered Accountants, ESG and IT experts, comprising of 6 partners and 77 employees. Its full range of services include a growing leadership and learning acceleration academy; audit (external and internal); quality assurance consulting; advisory services: corporate finance; sustainability and ESG advisory and assurance; financial management; and risk advisory.




The firm is led by Patricia Stock, CEO. Since joining the MGI Worldwide network, Patricia has immersed herself fully in network life, participating in online and in-person meetings including the recent Africa region meeting held in Nairobi, Kenya, and taking an active role in the MGI Worldwide Women Who Lead group aimed at encouraging and supporting the next generation of women and the future leaders of accounting. She is also a member of the Africa Regional Committee.

Celebrating milestones and re-brand

On 16 March 2023 MGI RAS hosted a thanksgiving and rebranding gala dinner, themed: “Our call to greatness and authentic collaboration”.

Patricia explains:

“The celebration came at a perfect time, 5 years after the restructuring of MGI RAS following the merger of three firms, and soon after becoming a member of MGI Worldwide. The MGI RAS team celebrated together with our esteemed guests who represented our diverse stakeholders’ group and who are part of our interconnected global village of supporters.”

MGI RAS was happy to welcome colleagues from MGI Bass Gordon in Cape Town, who attended the event in person.

“Having established a wonderful collaborative relationship in South Africa, our very own MGI Bass Gordon’s Partner, Stuart Hendler, spoke about the significance of being a member firm of MGI worldwide.”

MGI Worldwide CEO, Chris Borneman, and MGI Alekim Managing Partner, Felix Kimoli, sent congratulatory video messages. The whole event was live streamed and enjoyed the support of the virtual community.
