MGI Worldwide gains exposure at major inter-American event in Nicaragua

MGI Worldwide recently gained prominent regional exposure at a major inter-American seminar in Nicaragua, thanks to MGI Porras' sponsorship of the event.
The event, titled “Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Opportunities for the Accounting Profession,” took place from 21 to 23 May and brought together more than 250 participants from across the region.
As a key sponsor, MGI Porras helped showcase both the firm and the MGI global network. Its involvement included a branded stand, giveaways for attendees, and a full delegation that actively engaged throughout the three-day event.
Beyond its role as sponsor, MGI Porras also contributed to the seminar’s content by providing two expert speakers. Oscar Chile Monroy, partner at MGI Chile Monroy y Asociados in Guatemala, delivered a virtual presentation on tax issues in the context of artificial intelligence. Cornelio Porras, partner at MGI Porras, participated in the panel on International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
MGI Porras is a long-standing supporter of events organised by the College of Public Accountants of Nicaragua, and its participation in this seminar reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening its local presence and contributing to the development of the profession in the country.

Thank you to MGI Porras for representing the MGI network at such a significant event!
