MGI Worldwide Women Who Lead group explores ways to improve work-life balance & well-being

Held on 21 March, the latest Women Who Lead call was a great success attracting 77 female leaders from across our global community to discuss strategies for achieving a better work-life balance.

We had an inspiring session as two of MGI Worldwide’s amazing female talents Joanne Kingsnorth, Joint Managing Director at Seymour Taylor, UK, and Maike Huneke, Partner and Lawyer at Menold Bezler, Germany, shared their experiences and explored the important topic of work-life balance and well-being!

We heard valuable insights from the UK and Germany as Joanne and Maike talked about the strategies and approaches they use to promote a better balance in the workplace and how they fit their lives around their work, helping them juggle busy lives while remaining healthy and focused.

While women are well-represented across the accounting sector, there is still a gap at the leadership end. By celebrating the successes and talent of our female leaders, we hope to inspire positive change throughout our network and in the profession. We will ‘lead by example’ and explore opportunities to encourage and support the next generation of women and the future leaders of accounting.

Now it’s more important than ever to encourage and support new talent from the next generation of future accounting leaders. Our intention is to communicate how accessible the accounting industry is and the wealth of opportunities it presents for women.
