Nadia Yaich, partner at MGI Middle East & North Africa accountancy network member firm MGI Business & Financial Consulting (BFC) talks about the firm's contribution to the growth of the African economy, by forging key partnerships whilst actively participating in social responsibility.
Strategic and technical partnerships
Nadia outlined how the firm’s focus is to create strong ties and partnerships with corporations and other professionals, which she believes “leads to the birth of African champions.” Nadia explained how signing partnership agreements with firms across the African continent, has strengthened their position.
The firm is now present in Senegal, Benin and Togo. She highlighted how these types of well-positioned, strategic and technical partnerships are more cost-effective in the long-run, and also “make it possible to enforce and expand service offerings to include combined effort and skills, which contribute to better customer satisfaction.”
Nadia highlighted how these partnerships have helped the firm to set up a system focusing on social responsibilities. The firm is now involved in work with Benin-based NGOs that deal with local governance. Nadia was also very pleased to have been given the opportunity to train members of the Benin Institute of Internal Auditors, thereby sharing her experience and knowledge of the field.
The way forward
Future plans for MGI Business & Financial Consulting (BFC) include setting up partnerships with auditing firms in the Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso. In addition, Nadia extends a warm invitation to all MGI Worldwide members to join the firm in their mission to help develop the African continent.
