Client request in Dubai leads to multiple international collaborations
When global IT infrastructure company Evernex needed support beyond the UAE, managing director Vinayak Aatreya and audit quality reviewer Bryan Bonifacio at MGI member firm M&M Al Menhali saw an opportunity to look beyond the immediate request.
What started with a requirement in Saudi Arabia has since developed into a wider collaboration, connecting the client with MGI firms in several international markets.
Turning one challenge into a wider solution
M&M Al Menhali’s relationship with Evernex began in Dubai, where the team was already supporting the company with its local requirements. When Evernex later needed help in Saudi Arabia, Vinayak introduced the client to MGI’s local member firm Al-Hamli & Partners.

“I remember when Mr. Vinayak Aatreya introduced me to Evernex Group in 2025 - they were looking for audit services for for their Saudi Arabia branch. We arranged a meeting a few days later to discuss their requirements and quickly realised that as well as audit support, we could also help them with income tax, withholding tax and other services.
"Our proposal was approved within a week, and we prioritised the work to complete it ahead of the deadline. Since then, Evernex has reappointed us and engaged us for additional VAT and tax compliance services.
"What began as a simple request from Evernex Dubai has grown into a lasting relationship, demonstrating the value of collaboration between MGI member firms.”
The success of this first connection prompted a broader conversation about Evernex’s operations across the Middle East and Africa and where else MGI could help.
Since then, M&M Al Menhali has introduced Evernex to member firms in markets, including Egypt, Nigeria and the Philippines, bringing in local audit, accounting, tax, payroll and compliance expertise as needed in each country. Further opportunities continue to develop as the relationship grows.
