Latin America Region conference: connections and collaboration in Puebla
Last month, more than 60 delegates from across Latin America gathered in Puebla, Mexico, for the MGI LATAM Annual Conference 2026. Joined by colleagues from Spain, the UK and Miami, the conference brought members together to share knowledge, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships across the region and beyond.
Close to 100 people, including accompanying guests, took part in dinners, activities and social events over the three days, providing plenty of opportunities to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and enjoy time together outside the conference programme.
As always, there was plenty to discuss. Two days of sessions covered some of the key issues and opportunities facing the profession today, with topics ranging from technical developments and leadership to artificial intelligence, business development and strategy. Collaboration was also a strong theme throughout, with members sharing experiences and exploring new ways to work together across the network.
Welcoming new members
The conference provided a great opportunity to introduce some of the newest members of our MGI community: Trivalente from Guadalajara and Grupo Consultor EFE from Tijuana, Mexico, together with GEMRT from Miami.
It was particularly rewarding to see how quickly they became part of the group, joining discussions and making connections with fellow members from across the region.
Their participation was a great example of what we look for as the network grows. Welcoming new firms is not simply about increasing our presence; it is about bringing together people and organisations that share our values and genuinely want to collaborate. The relationships that develop between our members remain one of MGI LATAM’s greatest strengths.
Bringing our global and regional communities closer together
We were also delighted to welcome Maxine Brock, CEO of MGI Worldwide, and Emma Rowley, Membership & Marketing Manager, to Puebla.
Their participation gave members the opportunity to share more about the realities of doing business across Latin America, including the opportunities and challenges they are seeing in their local markets. It was equally valuable for our global team to spend time with members, hear their perspectives first-hand and experience the energy and strong sense of community that characterise MGI LATAM meetings.
