MGI Australasia evolves its learning programme into a 40-week Academy for all career stages
Running from February to November, the MGI Australasia Academy combines graduate foundations with ongoing development to build technical capability and professional judgement.
What’s new
MGI Australasia has expanded its original Graduate Academy (previously focused on onboarding trainee accountants) into the MGI Australasia Academy, a year-round programme that supports learning beyond the graduate phase. The first ten weeks remain dedicated to graduate foundations, with the rest of the programme extending development opportunities to junior, intermediate and senior staff across the network.
How the Academy will run
The Academy will run from February to November each year. After the graduate phase, the programme shifts to ongoing learning designed to strengthen technical capability, professional judgement and confidence - supporting people as they grow in their roles.
MGI Australasia Chairman Dan Henderson said the change reflects MGI Australasia’s commitment to long-term people development.
“As our network continues to grow, our capacity to continue to nurture the skill and talent of our team must grow too. Learning doesn’t stop after onboarding. The MGI Australasia Academy represents our commitment to continuous capability-building, shared learning and supporting our people to grow with confidence throughout their careers.”
— Dan Henderson, Chair MGI Australasia
Looking ahead
The Academy reinforces MGI Australasia’s focus on engagement and leadership development by creating a shared learning environment across experience levels. MGI Australasia looks forward to continuing to refine the Academy as a key pillar of its people & culture and learning & development strategies.
