My role is to co-ordinate the activities of the Asia, Africa and MENA Regions for the benefit of members, listening to and understanding their needs and add value to their businesses by helping them to grow, compete, win and work collaboratively with other MGI members.

Thomas Derksen is a German entrepreneur based in Shanghai for over a decade and one of the most-followed Western voices on China, with more than 10 million followers across Chinese and Western platforms. He is the founder of Asiabits, a market intelligence firm covering China's tech and business landscape, and has given more than 100 keynotes for companies including Google, Volkswagen, and Alibaba. Fluent in Mandarin, German, and English, he focuses on bridging East and West and turning what is happening on the ground in Asia into practical takeaways for business leaders.

Will Sung

Will Sung is a Leadership coach and Management consultant serving SMEs to CxOs of Fortune 500 companies; an accredited ICF PCC coach with over 2,000 hours of coaching, he brings with him more than 20 years of international management experience, running teams of 4 to 10,400 people in Agile teams, projects, COEs and enterprise-level services. A British national who has worked in over 8 countries, many in Asia, his home since 2013 is in Guangzhou, working and lending his experience to business and higher education; Will is the current sitting Vice Chairman of The British Chamber of Commerce South China, which allows him to see their diverse set of business communities from an operational and policy lens. Since settling in Guangzhou, Will has been an investor in the F&B industry as well as successfully building and exiting a FinTech after Angel investment stage.
