MGI is not run to make a profit. The aim is to break even whilst keeping costs and the member’s subscriptions as low as possible.
MGI subscriptions are paid in two parts; Internationally and regionally and fees vary based on each firm’s turnover subject to a minimum and maximum amount.
The international subscription is used to finance the central administration of MGI including its executive staff, marketing costs relating to our website and directories and meeting costs for the international and executive committees. These committees are made up entirely of members who set the strategy and oversee the running of MGI.
The regional subscription is used to finance the UK & I area administration on a day-to-day basis and provide a regular programme of regional seminars and additional services including access to Mercia UK audit and specialist assignment manuals, use of the Creditsafe system, discounts on tuition rates from Kaplan plus others. There is also an initial joining fee, which contributes towards the costs incurred in meeting and reviewing new members.

What our members say
“We have been with MGI for almost 20 years and we’ve got a lot of value from working with other people, to either win work or keep clients and to look at how to share ideas and improve our business.”
Simon Turner, MGI member Seymour Taylor, UK
