MGI UK’s Rickard Keen named top employer

MGI UK member Rickard Keen has been named one of the top employers in the country’s accountancy industry.

Sector-leading news magazine Accountancy Age shortlisted the UK based accountancy firm, which has been an MGI member for 35 years, as part of its Best Employer Survey.

Alan Worsdale, managing partner at the firm, says it’s a great honour for the firm.

“We are absolutely delighted that the Best Employer survey has recognised our commitment to providing a great working environment for our employees where they feel valued and respected. This has been reflected in the employee survey which formed an important part of the nomination process,” he added.

“We know that having a happy team means a more productive team, with everyone pulling together in the right direction to deliver an exceptional client experience.”

Ten firms were shortlisted, with the winner to be unveiled at the British Accountancy Awards on November 25th.

Accountancy Age editor Kevin Reed says the firms on the list recognise the value of their biggest asset.

“Embracing new ways of working, rewarding and motivating staff are vital to survive and thrive in such a tough market,” he explained.

It’s not the first time Rickard Keen has been recognised for its work, with the company regularly winning at the ICAEW South Essex awards in the UK. Last year it was named Training Firm of the Year, while in the same year it was also runner-up in the Taxation Awards, Tax Practice in a Regional Firm category.
